Analyzing the quote “I learned early that there is nothing new in Wall Street. There can’t be because speculation is as old as the hills. Whatever happens in the stock market today has happened before and will happen again. I’ve never forgotten that.” – Jesse Livermore
A very good quote. In fact, there is not much I can or should add.
The rules don’t change. The market doesn’t change. Trading doesn’t change. Why would they change?
I’ve been trading with price action analyzethisfx.com for twelve years and I see the market make the same moves every day, every week, every month and every year. I’ve seen charts from a hundred years ago and I see exactly the same things.
The lack of change is actually good news for traders. That means that a trader only has to learn to trade profitably once. You see, trading is actually stunningly elegant and easy when a trader really understands what it’s all about. Then all a trader has to do is keep collecting the money.
